Service and Repair Instructions
Do not send any equipment until you have spoken with a technician by phone.
Our technician will provide you with a Service Request Number, which is required before we can service your equipment.

Diagnostic Fee

A $49.95 diagnostic fee is required to evaluate and determine the issue with your radio.

If you approve the repair estimate and proceed with the repair, the diagnostic fee will be waived.

If you decline the repair, the diagnostic fee is non-refundable and covers the evaluation only.

Labor Rates and Parts

Our bench rate is $55.00 per hour, plus the cost of any required parts.

After diagnostics, we will provide you with an estimate before any repair work begins.

No repairs will be performed without your approval.

Turnaround Time

Our current bench queue is approximately 30 days from the time repairs are authorized. We are extremely busy and appreciate your patience.

Diagnostics will be completed within 5 business days of receiving your radio and a estimate provided.

Customer-Provided Issue Description

Providing a detailed description of the issue (symptoms, when it happens, any error messages, recent changes, etc.) helps us speed up diagnostics and improves accuracy.

Shipping & RMA Requirements

If you are shipping your radio to us, you must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before shipping.

To obtain an RMA number, please call us at (805) 635-7373.

Clearly write the RMA number on the outside of the package and include your contact information and a description of the problem inside the box.

Customers are responsible for all shipping costs and for proper packaging to prevent damage in transit.

Unclaimed or Abandoned Equipment

If we are unable to reach you, or if repairs are not approved within 30 days of providing an estimate, the radio may be considered abandoned and handled at our discretion, including possible disposal.
